Our recliners offer four main positions:

Rest - Our recliners' standard postion.

Relax - With your feet up.

Recline - To an almost flat bed position.

Lift and Tilt - For easy 'walk-in', 'walk-out' access.

In line with our policy of continually updating our recliner range we are introducing our new, 'SmoothRise' motorised lifting system.

This new system dispenses with the current 'reset' box by incorporating a microprocessor into the handset and will be available in both the single motor lift/tilt (rise and recline) and dual motor lift/tilt actions.

The benefits of the 'SmoothRise' system include :

 A much smoother rising action that glides the chair to its desired position
 Increased lifting capacity of 25 stones (158kg)
 More attractive transformer unit with LED and concealed battery back-up.

The Delta actions represent the latest word in action technology. Developed by Omega Inc of America, this new series offers a choice of 5 actions in both manual or electrically powered recliners - all of which provide effortless relaxation in the recliner of your choice.

The range also incorporates a new Dual Motor Recliner which allows independent adjustment of the footrest and back - giving you total control of the recline position.

In addition, our innovative 'Lift and Tilt' action raises the chair to the standing position for easy 'walk-in, walk-out' access. Most recliners also feature our unique 'wall hugger' action, allowing chairs to be positoned up to 50mm (2") from any obstruction.

At Celebrity we recognise that everyone is a different shape and size and that we all have different needs in terms of the level of comfort and support required.



(Recliner action 1) Easy-open, easy-close manual - The 'easy-open, easy-close' manual recline action incorporates a 'geometrically balanced' design which uses your own body weight to help move the chair to the recline position thats right for you. Additionally, all manual recliners are available in a choice of lever handle or recessed latch operation.



Touch of a button electric - Now you have a choice of two electrically powered reclining actions.

The (Recliner action 2) Single Motor Recliner glides effortlessly to the position of your choice at the touch of a button.



(Recliner action 3) Dual Motor Recliner - Due to its unique design the Delta Dual Motor Recliner can be moved to an almost flat bed position, with up to a 25% further reclining position than before.

Additionally, independent control of the back gives you an almost infinite variety of recline positions.

(Rise and recliner action 4) Single Motor Lift and Tilt - The Single Motor Lift/Tilt option has a wide range of reclining positions with the added capability of a gentle rising action to allow easy 'walk-in', 'walk-out' access.



(Rise and recliner action 5) Dual Motor Lift and Tilt - For those requiring extra assistance, the Dual Motor Lift/Tilt recliner also rises up to 20% more than previous models - making easier 'walk-in, walk-out' access and the added benefit of being able to recline the back of the chair, independently, at any time.

Furthermore, the Delta's rigid rise contruction means there is little sideways movement of the chair in the lift position.


For those who require a little bit of extra assistance in getting into and out of the chair we now offer 3 different rising actions (these chairs are often called power chairs, rise and recliners, lifting chairs etc).

The innovative (lifting recliner action 1) Delta Single Motor Lift and Tilt chair incorporates a powered mechanism which steadily raises the chair from the rest to the standing position. Controlled by our simple to operate 3 button handset, this power chair has brought comfort to many, by readily allowing easy 'walk-in, walk-out' access.

For the ultimate in adjustable comfort, the (lifting recliner action 2) Delta Dual Motor Lift and Tilt action offers all the features above, plus the added benefit of being able to recline the back of the power chair, independently, at any time.

This action offers even easier access by raising the chair up by 20% higher than previous models. This feature coupled with its rigid rise construction, reduces side-to-side movement, making it the ideal way to gently ease you out of the chair.

Lastly the (lifting recliner action 3) Dorset Interlift is a totally new concept in the Lift /Tilt action; with a unique lifting motion, leaving the base completely still as the chair rises. This new concept offers a level of safety unknown in other recliners.
